Newsletter September 2011

Hi Fellow Mountain Bikers!

It’s hard to believe it's soon going to be time to dig out your lights and delve into the kit box for those winter togs, especially with the warm weather drugging on well into October...  But, autumn is here and you can feel it in the air. The pine trees scent in the forests is stronger than ever, the last leaves of my basil plants have been whirled into pesto, whilst the pomegranate trees are just starting to turn magnificent red… So, whether you love it or loathe it, autumn is in the air, which means that… now is an ideal time to mountain bike! Summer's heat has taken a back seat and winter's wrath has yet to come. And there's no better way to celebrate nature's beauty (none that we know of) than from behind your handlebars! So, get out there, join us and turn those pedals…

It is after all, the last call for our Coast to Coast 7 day adventure of the 2011 season, we’ve got people signed up all the way from Canada and Australia and it’s going to be fun! Mt. Ochi in Evia where we mostly cycle during our Evia  stay is stunning at this time of the year while the weather is still warm for that last swim…Easyjet and Aegean are now on low season prices so if you’re looking to take your mountain bike on holiday, then with this we are hoping to tempt you away from your armchairs!!!!

And for the  local crowd who usually joins us on our charity ride weekends, yes, there will be another one in November, we are working on it now, most probable dates are November 12th and 13th. We’ll be posting an announcement on our website and facebook page soon.

Talking about dates, you’ll be pleased to know that our 2012 Coast to Coast holidays are now appearing on our website and we are working on some new destinations for next year but more on that in next month’s newsletter!

So till then,

See you on the mountain…
